Do you ever try and reunite the belongings with the owners, or the owners' families? Awesome find, as a Navy BRAT this stuff is so cool.self storage santa monicahttp://www.olympicselfstorage.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6139837040134159656.post-33845290221711875972012-06-15T07:18:05.676-05:002012-06-15T07:18:05.676-05:00Hey there, very cool collection. Navy Day was changed to Family Day and friends and families could go into most of the shops and waterfront where the "boats" (subs) were being worked on. I had lots of fun back then and met my future husband there. I too would be interested in the collection if the other gentleman doesn't buy it.

Thanks for sharing all great finds!

ChrisChris C.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6139837040134159656.post-20933557912396538452012-06-13T10:43:10.572-05:002012-06-13T10:43:10.572-05:00The keel is the "spine" of a ship and th...The keel is the "spine" of a ship and the first thing that is constructed when building a vessel. Since yours is for someone who actually might have some sort of sentimental attachment to them, I'd say give us $50 plus shipping... sound fair?Storage Heroeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16621346355914251392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6139837040134159656.post-36373656382335045252012-06-13T01:49:36.114-05:002012-06-13T01:49:36.114-05:00Just wondering, what would you ask for the collect...Just wondering, what would you ask for the collection? My dad worked at Mare Island for 25+ years & would get a kick out them, I'm sure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
